MDP Founder, Terrina Scott, Newest Board Member of Imani Corporation

Minor Details Productions founder, Terrina Scott, is a new board member of Imani Corporation www.imani.org a California Nonprofit organization committed to help African American women maximize their potential.

Imani Corporation carries this out through their youth program; Imani Phi Christ. Imani Phi Christ's focus is on scholarship, leadership, character development, friendship, faith and sisterhood. Imani's program for adult women is Imani Life Transformation; a program designed to help women find them fulfillment in career and relationships.

Imani Phi Christ, founded in September of 1993 at First AME Church (FAME) in Los Angeles has grown to include five chapters currently located in Irvine and South Los Angeles, California, Atlanta, Georgia, West Palm Beach, Florida and Boston, Massachusetts. Imani Life Transformation empowers adult women through conferences and retreats and weekly blog and radio show.

Ms. Scott has been affiliated with Imani for over four years beginning as a volunteer and later executive producer of Imani's largest fundraiser, Maximize. Ms. Scott has a passion for the empowerment of young women, especially African American women and is looking forward to working with the organization to achieve it's goals.
