Happy Bastille Day!

July 14th, is Bastille Day, a French national holiday that commemorates the storming of the Bastille in 1789. France considers the day a celebration of the founding of France’s modern nation, which includes a parade down the Champs-Élysée. To get in the spirit, I'm honoring my connection via Josephine Baker who took France by storm!

Below enjoy some of the most famous french fashion icons and decor goodies inspired by France.

Coco Chanel revolutionized the way women dressed in pretty much every way: she made ready to wear popular, she invented the LBD and those Chanel tweed jackets and quilted bags are on every lady’s wish list. It’s now estimated that a bottle of Chanel No. 5 is sold somewhere in the world every 55 seconds!
